What is Biblical Consulting?

​

Biblical Consulting is Holy Spirit-led, one-on-one instruction from the Bible for people’s everyday life problems and questions. At M.L.A.M., we believe God has given us His Word to instruct us in righteousness to live according to His principles and standards of living. We also believe that God anoints, equips and empowers preachers and teachers to provide instruction to His people. Biblical Consulting is the method by which each of M.L.A.M.’s clients access this level of anointed and God-ordained Biblical instruction.

 

The basis for our beliefs is found in 2 Timothy 3:15-17:

“And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.”

As well as Romans 10:14:

​

“How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?”

 

The truth is, sometimes it is challenging for people to read, study and apply God’s Word to their specific life situations. Under the leading, guidance and direction of the Holy Spirit, Biblical Consulting helps to meet this spiritual need in a practical way in the lives of many.

The focus and goal of each session are to lead people to the person of Jesus Christ. Our belief is that it is only through faith in Christ and the Word of God that a person can truly be set free from demonic activity, debilitating lifestyle habits and/or distress of any kind (John 8:36). As such, we foster an environment where God meets each client at their point of need to yield the following results:
